Aaron Baker Is The Owner And Head Strength And Conditioning Coach At Baker Strength And Conditioning Located Schoolcraft, MI.  Aaron Works With Clients And Athletes Of Various Age Levels And Abilities, And Is Committed To Helping People Achieve Their Goals. He Tailors Each Class Session To Meet The Needs Of His Clients, Whether They Are Athletic And/Or Team-Oriented Training Groups Or Adults That Are Training To Reach New Physical Fitness Goals And Overall Health. Experience

Coach Baker has over 12 years of strength and conditioning experience and has worked with a wide variety of athletes and adults. He has coached collegiate athletes, and helped many of them reach the next level. Prior to opening his own gym over seven years ago, Aaron served as a coach for several college and universities including: 

Louisburg College: Head Strength and Conditioning Coach 
Kentucky Christian University: Head Strength and Conditioning Coach
Texas Christian University (TCU): Strength and Conditioning Intern
Olivet College: Weightlifting Instructor


qualifications

Coach Baker is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and achieved his Master’s Degree in Coaching Education through Ohio University. He never stops learning and continually advances his knowledge through specialized training and literature.

  • Won multiple 5k/Obstacle Events

  • Has ran 12 Half Marathons (Fastest 1:24:45, 6:28 Per Mile Pace)

  • Ran First Ever Kalamazoo Marathon

  • Completed first ULTRAMARATHON (Kal-Haven Trail 33.5 Miles) April 2019

 

The specific resistance exercises and body weight movements that Aaron teaches help his clients become stronger, improve mobility, gain explosiveness and speed, and better able to engage in typical daily life, while also reducing the potential for injury. Aaron stresses the importance of the “quality” of each individual  movement, while challenge clients to go above and beyond their current abilities. Aaron is a highly respected Strength and Conditioning Coach, who is best known for his ability to develop training sessions that target all his clients’ goals; whether they are high/middle school athletes, college athletes, or adults.
